Each plays a major role in ensuring that SGI provides world-class fulfillment services in the most cost-efficient manner. They focus their teams on creating custom solutions to your industry's unique challenges. They have an absolute investment in taking your business from status quo to competitive edge.


Jack Burns
Jack Burns, President, is committed to making SGI a true partner with the customers who entrust our company to meet their fulfillment needs. Quality and responsiveness are the hallmarks of his focus on operational excellence. Jack and his staff acquire an in-depth understanding of each client’s unique opportunities and challenges, then provide a thorough description of how SGI can assist in meeting them. Jack came to SGI with 14 years of experience in operations, sales, and marketing management with a large pharmaceutical firm and a reputation for developing people and delivering results. He holds a B.A. in marketing from the University of Oklahoma. He regularly participates in economic and life sciences events and serves as president of the board of College Mentors for Kids, a statewide program for high-risk elementary students.

Tom Dean
Tom Dean, Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for all of SGI's internal support functions, including accounting, benefits administration, plant maintenance, and quality assurance. His attention to all aspects of corporate accounting assures customers that SGI holds to the highest standards of fiscal responsibility. Formerly SGI's COO, he led the company’s effort to earn ISO 9001:1994 certification for quality management systems in 2001 and again during the upgrade to ISO 9001:2000 in 2003. Tom is a certified public accountant with a B.S. in accounting from Central Michigan University and 22 years of experience in financial and operational management. He is a member of the Council of Logistics Management and Warehouse Education & Research Council and a past board member of the Mailing & Fulfillment Service Association's Fulfillment Council. He is a requested speaker on statistical quality control processes.

Forrest Adam

Forrest Adam is SGI’s Chief Operations Officer with more than 20 years of experience in supporting distribution, marketing, and retail operations. He oversees all aspects of our information technology, production, and fulfillment services. The commitment to and application of ISO processes allows SGI to achieve world-class results and continuous improvement in areas important to customers: dock-to-stock time, inventory and order accuracy, and order turnaround. Forrest leverages SGI's quality processes and proven technology to give clients an edge over competitors in today's challenging economic environment. He came to SGI from a leading retail pharmacy chain where he managed information systems supporting the largest retail pharmacy warehouse in the country. His large-company experience, coupled with his desire to achieve optimal solutions, has yielded benefits by providing SGI clients with significant savings in order processing, 24/7 access to critical inventory management, and unique integration solutions between clients’ internal systems and those used by SGI to manage their business. He holds a B.S. in computer science from Purdue University.

Krista Turpin

Krista Turpin is SGI’s Chief Client Officer. She manages the Client Services team, the key people SGI clients contact and work with on a regular basis. Krista is well prepared to focus these teams on understanding our clients' business, then directing the talents and resources within SGI to meet and exceed client expectations while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism. Krista holds a B.A. in communications from Purdue University and came to SGI with 11 years of experience leading client service, account management, and business development teams for a corporate meetings management and medical education company serving pharmaceutical companies. She remains active in the healthcare field through her role as first vice president of the Indiana chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association.
